The model as written has implications other than that there is something like an IS curve. As you note, the true expected value (that is rationally expected) of future GDP affects current GDP. Also the real interest rate affects the rate of growth of consumption.
The problem is that, to the extent new Keynessian models differ from old Keynesian models, the data are not kind to the new models. ...
The newness is all about intertemporal optimization without liquidity constraints. It clearly gives false implications. So the model is modified so that it acts just like an old Keynesian model. How is this a worthwhile activity ?
Notably, the micro foundations are not justified on the assumption that people really intertemporally optimize with rational expectations. ... As I tried to make other outdoor plans (fishing, hiking, scouting, even target shooting), they got pushed aside by other realities of our trip, namely, family obligations and total disinterest from other folks with beaucoups free time. In fact, I literally spent more time discussing the merits and faults of the Bear Grylls line of knife products, while sitting on a couch in the air conditioning, than I did actually breathing air in the outdoors.

Normally I dont write a whole lot on presidential politics for the simple reason that its such a Zionist-controlled cesspool it often seems hardly worth commenting on. Even so, here are a few items I couldnt let pass, the first having to do with Newt Gingrichs comment about the Palestinians being an invented people.
Gingrich seems like a reasonably intelligent fellow, and Im guessing he knows enough about American history to know that white Europeans were not the original Americans. Here are what the original Americans looked like:

However my granny has a bird feeder in her garden and puts Cheyenne Pepper in it to keep out the squirrlies , it won't affect the birds but will run the others off . Trust me if you are offering food for the birds and the other animals have access to the food , they will eat ! ! !
